Our articles are original works, the product of study and analysis carried out on our own data. They are protected by copyright, and the data underpinning them by the sui generis database right (art. L341-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code).
Quote a short extract, a figure or a chart to support your own analysis, citing the source and linking to the article. We welcome it: that is what a study is for.
Reproducing, rewording, translating, adapting or summarising one of our articles substantially, including by means of an AI, in order to publish a derivative version. Rewording is not authorship: reusing our figures, our structure and our conclusions while changing the words remains infringement (art. L122-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code; 17 U.S.C. § 106), with or without a link to the source. Running the text through an LLM changes nothing: what makes a reuse legitimate is your own analytical contribution, not the degree of paraphrase.
